Vestia (“the app”) is a wellness and exercise-guidance app that helps adults carry out visual and vestibular exercises. It is a practice assistant, not a medical device, and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Data we collect
Vestia does not require an account and does not send your data to us or to any third party. All information the app records — your exercise settings (duration, speed, size, contrast, colour), your guided and custom sessions, your session history, and any symptom scores you choose to enter before and after a session — is stored locally on your device only, using Android’s standard on-device storage (DataStore and a local database). We do not have access to it, and it is not transmitted to any server we operate.
This data is deliberately excluded from Android’s automatic cloud backup, so it is not uploaded to a Google account backup by default. If you move to a new device using Android’s direct device-to-device transfer, this data can come along with the rest of your phone’s data, the same as any other app.
In-app purchases
Vestia offers an optional one-time “Premium” purchase to unlock additional content. This purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, see, or store your payment card details — Google handles the transaction, and we only receive confirmation of whether the purchase was completed, so the app can unlock the corresponding features.
Analytics, advertising and third-party services
Vestia does not currently integrate any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software. No usage data is collected or shared with third parties.
Permissions
The app requests the device’s vibration permission, used only to play haptic cues during exercises and sessions. It requests no other device permissions.
Children
Vestia is intended for adult use and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new “Last updated” date.
